Everything you need in one place. No more context switching so you can get lost in the groove. Give your patterns the focus they deserve. Start simple with MIDI recording and fine tune with trig and parameter locks. Build up a whole soundscape with the full FX chain and store your presets, ready for your next live set.
You're spoilt for choice. Transpose +/- 48 semitones. 2 envelope modes (AHD and ASR), independent filters for each voice with 4 different filter modes. Optional stretch or looping effects. Per voice sends for the stereo FX chain and pan & gain controls. 8 possible bipolar velocity modulation destinations. And incase that's not enough, every one of these parameters is available for modulation from the sequencer.
Versatile organic LFO for smooth non-repetitive motion and noise like output at high speeds. Parallel compression, transient shaper & resonant boom. DJ style HP and LP filter with resonance and drive control. Take it to the extreme with parallel distortion and the ping-pong delay feedback loop. Dedicated knobs for delay time modulation allow for easy chorus effects. Fill in space with the reverb and noise circuit for tasty trails.
Probability controls the chance each trigger or parameter has of firing.
Microtiming determine whether a step triggers sooner or later than straight timing.
Trig & Param Conditions allow cyclical variations without increasing the step count. Trigs & Params can have independent conditions set.
Trig Length set the trigger length for the current step. This determines how long each note is held.
Ratchets set the number of ratchets for the current step. Combine with ratRamp, ratClust and trigLength for time ramping and velocity ramping, enabling easy bouncing ball effects which can vary on each step.
Slide applies a slide to the current step’s parameter value. Decide between smooth or stepped modulation at each step.
Each of the 8 channels can have up to 64 steps. Each of these steps can have any of the above trig locks simultaneously applied. Say goodbye to repetitive sequences. Colored indicators on the steps represent whether a trig or param lock or both are applied, know what's happening at a glance & craft your pattern one step at time.
Fast workflow with direct access to controls for zero friction between idea and sound. The dynamically resizable interface can be as small or big as your monitor can handle. Let the visual feedback guide you intuitively. Need to control something with a MIDI controller or want to automate a parameter from Ableton Live? No problem, pop open the MIDI mapping window and access every parameter except the sequencer steps.
The choice is yours. Either use the preset mechanism in the traditional way and stick with Store / Load / Reset. Or push the creative boundaries and morph between any of your presets. Every single parameter including the sequencer steps and parameters will be crossfaded. Found a sweet spot? Store it for later in one of your 64 preset slots! Explore the vast world of possibilities between any of your presets. What will you encounter?
Think you'll need more advanced audio routing options? Enjoy the peace of mind that SMPLseq is equipped with 18 channel audio outputs that can be tapped from any audio track in Ableton. Any of the 8 sampler voices can be broken out to a separate channel for multitrack recording or dedicated processing. Decide whether these feeds are before or after the channel faders with the pre / post setting.

Trigger all 8 samplers with your MIDI keyboard. When it's time to record, decide if you want to record quantised or unquantised, enable the toggle and bang away! Either record one voice at a time or do all at once, SMPLseq can handle both workflows.

Organic modulation has never been easier. Record the LFOs output into the sequencer with one toggle. Need more precision? Use the manual automation knob and record the exact modulation you want in realtime. Fine tune later with param locks, slides, clock dividers, last step, modulation amount & delay.

Modulate every sampler and effect parameter with 64 independent lanes of modulation from the sequencer. Each of these can run at their own clock division, direction and last step settings. Combine with slides, param probability & param conditions for extra interest.

Organic LFO, parallel compression, transient shaping & resonant boom, DJ style HP & LP filter with resonance & drive, parallel distortion, ping-pong feedback delay and reverb with a noise circuit. All modulatable via the sequencer. You won't be running out of creative options anytime soon. Be as subtle or as heavy handed as you like.

Control the 8 channel faders, sample loading, MIDI recording, preset controls & crossfader from the tray UI. Want to dive in? Pop open the dynamically resizable custom UI for full control. Shift support for fine tuning paramters, double click to reset paramters, hold command (ctrl on Windows) or option to access different increment intervals.

Dedicated window for MIDI mapping. All controls except the sequencer steps are MIDI mappable. psst these can also be used for automating and modulating from Ableton. Don't let us stop you if you want to get experimental and change the sequencer direction or last step settings every 3.1.7 bars.
